B Balanced started with two people having the love for business & Fitness.
Working hard in the corporate world, exercising and enjoying the gym can be tough when you don't have the right clothing.
I am a Detective, work long hours and wear corporate clothing every day. I chase criminals, jump fences and shirts would tear. I also love the gym and exercising regular is a must. It helps with my mindset and stresses from my job. With exercise comes muscles and business shirts just don’t fit muscles!
Finding workwear that would allow me to do my job while looking and feeling great was difficult!!!
My partner Ben had similar issues...
Ben is in the corporate world in the construction industry. Walking on sites to walking into a board room was a daily activity. Business shirts would leave him feeling sweaty and uncomfortable from the transitions. He is also a fitness enthusiast with muscles and height.
Same issue business shirts don’t fit MUSCLES!
We both struggled to find workwear that would look good and make us feel amazing. We both strive for success and to be able to do this you need to feel comfortable in your own self.
So, we decided to start our own clothing brand.
If you want to perform at your best, you need to look good doing it. You also need clothing that can perform with you. Functionality and comfort need to be incorporated otherwise you won’t want to move.
Researching one fabric that would allow you to breathe, move, look good and be comfortable was difficult. So, we started to blend fabrics together to make a blend that was all of the above. A balance of fabrics that allowed you to perform at your best.
Sizing is also really important to us. We researched about sizing in Australia and learnt that there are no sizing regulations, and that sizing is different among most brands. This does not help consumers and customers.
We wanted to give the active professional the opportunity to wear workwear that not only looked smart for meetings, but also performed like your favourite gym wear.
This is how B Balanced workwear was created.
Workwear that fits muscles, looks good, feels amazing, allows your to perform at your best and easy to wash.
