Time Blocking

Time Blocking

Have you experienced time blocking?

When it comes to managing my day, I find time blocking so beneficial. I live a busy life, I have an 8-month-old daughter, I run a business, I go to the gym daily and I eat healthy, so this means there is not a lot of time to be wasted. Not to mention I am about to go back to work full time.

I like to get the most out of my days, so I don't feel rushed, and I feel productive.

Starting the day with mapping out what needs to be done can help me clarify what will actually get done. Giving a set time for the task to be completed allows me to understand if I need to move one or two tasks to the next day.

I also get my to do list all ticked off which makes me feel better at the end of the day.

I have also found that I am more productive in the time slot that I have allocated as I know that there is no more time in the day to get the task completed. If I have 30 minutes to complete an email, I do it in 30 minutes because I know that if it doesn't get done it won't.

Try time blocking your day or week and let know how much more you get done.
